With a focus on fund-raising, American Coast Theater Company (ACTC) has put together two shows that will certainly draw a crowd. The reprise production of the original music revue, Love Makes the World Go ‘Round, is sure to satisfy again as much as it did during its world premiere in September 2012. Don’t miss this “Summer of Love” with ACTC!

“A musical revue about the joys, tensions and rhapsodies of love.”

Don’t worry, boy meets girl, boy gets girl, boy loses girl; and, well, you know how the story goes! But in this wildly clever musical revue, it goes well beyond your wildest expectations. Be prepared to take the usual ride on the rollercoaster of love, but also beware of some unexpected twists and turns, and good old-fashioned romance as memorable Broadway tunes start your toes tapping and your heart thumping.

The Vanguard University Volleyball Team and Athletics Department will be hosting a Volleyball Tournament to benefit the Jessie Rees Foundation (NEGU) in order to help children fighting cancer. Donations will be accepted and all proceeds will go towards creating joy Jars for Pediatric Cancer Patients. Please join us for this great cause and show your support to our VU Lions!

Spring Classical Concert 2103

Vanguard’s annual Spring Classical Concert combines the University Concert Choir and Orchestra with the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Sanctuary Choir. It’s always a favorite among everyone! Each year, the Spring Concert brings the audience a classical combination of various pieces – recent performances have included the works of Felix Mendelssohn, Franz Joseph Haydn, Franz Schubert, W. A. Mozart, G. F. Handel, and many other famous composers as well as some contemporary composers such as Dan Forrest. Tickets can be purchased for $16 each.
