Career Networking

Whether you are an alum looking for work or an employer who recognizes the value of hiring Vanguard grads—the Alumni Association and Vanguard Career Center are great resources for you.

Through active involvement with the Alumni Association you have opportunity to develop relationships with alumni from many different class eras. This is important, particularly as it relates to job prospecting. Our alumni are employed in every conceivable vocation and are willing to assist other alums in their job search process. Available to both students and alumni, the Vanguard Career Center houses a library of valuable tests, materials and resources to help you further you career. If you are simply looking for a new position in the same field or entertaining a complete change of direction, the professionals in the Vanguard Career Center will assist in resume development, career exploration, and provide valuable resources for your search. VU grads receive a 25% discount on undergrad classes toward a second major.

As an alum, you can continue your library privileges (excluding computer lab) for just $2.00 per year. Visit our library online today and begin taking advantage of this resource. Look for changes coming in the near future to the look and content of the VU Library website.
